Last year, I rescued a tuber from a compost bin at the local cemetery. It took until summer for it to come out of dormancy. I placed it in a partially shaded spot, and never forgot to water it. I gave it fertilizer but nothing seemed to happen. This morning I checked, and was surprised to find these beautiful flowers!
