"Only authorized protests" is...a beautiful phrase, in that it encapsulates neofascism's greatest innovation: the harnessing of unrest to corral everyone else into unhappy, frightened blocs who hand over more and more power to the very people they should be tar and feathering.
I think it's a contender for neofascism's tagline:
Neofascism: Only Authorized Protests

We have very draconian protest laws in the UK too…protests must now be authorised by the police and they determine the route.
The right to protest has been massively constrained across democracies in a few short years. We’re told this is to allow ‘people to go about their business’…but who are the ‘in group people’ and the ‘out group people’ when these statements are made?
