@PavelASamsonov OH! You're an "advanced interface" person. That gives me more context. There is likely a lot more we could do to make this better for multi-column users.

but getting rid of it entirely? You'd lose ALL navigation options (DMs, Explore, Lists, Settings, etc.) It seems a bit draconian to want to get rid of the entire navigation panel. I get that it's in your way, I'm not saying you don't have a point but to get rid of it entirely is confusing to me.

@scottjenson I was thinking less "get rid" and more "hide behind a button" or something like that. I don't need to see Lists Feeds etc when my focus is on the feeds I already have opened

@scottjenson Also I found a bug in the Android mobile site: if you click on your avatar and then use the browser Back button, the feed remains locked & can't be scrolled unless you tap the avatar again

Also a "advanced UI" person here. I am not sure yet how I feel about the UI; One thing that mildly bothers me is that the "rounded card"-style seems to have too few space, so that the "background" appears more as an overlayed grid.

@scottjenson I will say that aside from that bug, the mobile experience looks pretty nice. Although it feels like it was designed for a large sized phone (in the same way that the advanced mode is fine on a 30 inch display) and could do with tighter padding to fit better on a sub 6 inch screen.
