Oct 16, 2026, 11:29 AMUsagi Electric received the Tony Sale Award from the UK's National Museum of Computing located at Bletchley Park, the site of the Enigma code-crackers. Watch this for a great talk and some great after questions from the staff, all computer historians and computer pioneers in their own right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmUtew0NaTQ
@Kroc - this is a great talk, it complements the Usagi Electric videos nicely.
I am wondering who the audience was though, and whether it was open to the public. I live about an hour away from Bletchley Park, and would have loved to have been there if that was possible, but I have no idea how I would have found out about it.
@philcowans @Kroc It was a very secretive affair, as I work there and even I didn't find out about it until after the event happened. It was a CCS/IEEE event, and not open to the public.
@spacehobo @Kroc - I'm a member of CCS too!
