@jensimmons the browsers have gotten faster, more capable, more standards compliant (thanks!) The frameworks have gotten overly-complex, bloated, and fragile. The job-market is the worst I’ve seen it in 30 years. Very few people are making cool things for the web compared to 20 years ago because of a combination of corporate capture, slop farms, and user fatigue
