    Thanks, Elena, for this impressive analysis of W Social.

    Assuming the best of their CEO, Anna Zeiter, she is not one of the founders of W Social. Most likely she was taken in by their smooth talk and their presentation at Davos, just as the European Commission was (to their shame).

    She might feel like a diamond on a dunghill.

    My Roman Empire is figuring out how W Social picked ATproto for their network... but none of the founders (nor Zeiter) ever set up an account on Bluesky to try it out.

    They had a glitzy launch in Davos - when the W Social PDS didn't even exist... It was set up days later.

    Rentzhog had his account set up in February and Zeiter in March, so WEEKS after the Davos launch.
