If anyone remembers that yesterday I posted about the incredible medical economic disasters awaiting much of the US population to go into effect January 1, 2027, well here’s a look at almost 1/4 of the people who will lose Medicaid and Medicare coverage completely this next year.

The economic devastation is way beyond that for an individual. The numbers of hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and ER’s that will close as a result will be a resulting devastation to the whole US economy as well as substantial reduced quality of life.

The ripple effects on society extend far beyond any individuals. Yet, I hear America is winning, I hear America has the greatest economy ever, that reports and data that show job losses and inflation are fake news, and getting rid of hundreds of thousands of immigrants Makes America Great Again.

Oh yes, we “won” that war on Iran, right? Oh sure is a good thing Trump made a deal with Putin so diesel fuel prices come down! So, so much winning. And yippee, the excitement of the coming “savings” because of the reductions largest in history for healthcare for Americans!

I feel better already since I did get my appointment with a broker set for a few weeks from now. Fortunately my credit union has advisors for Medicare vs Medicare Advantage as part of the services. So at least I’ll have a good start.

Meanwhile the posts in Reddit are coming fast and furious. Looks like a lot of “seniors” are waking up to how serious this healthcare situation really is. #USHealthcare #Medicaid #Medicare #HealthInsurance #BigBeautifulBill
