Me too I think, for pretty much as long as I can remember. One of my oldest childhood memories is laughing along with my neighbours and their parents, typing in rather impolite commands to 8-bit adventure games on their home computer out of frustration.
I'd like to think there might be some reason for becoming nicer to software since then, but so far I certainly haven't been able to imagine what such a reason could be. Regrettably, over that same interval, software has become outrageously more hostile to me.
