@jeffowski For them there are Acceptable ways of being autistic (trouble understanding sarcasm, being a little awkward) and UNACCEPTABLE ways of being autistic (inability to understand their instructions, acting like WE'RE the ones who know better right now).

They see us as emotionally inferior, so they're willing to accomodate us in ways that maintain that superiority, but not in any other way
