Word from my mom is that my grandma's estate is winding after almost two years and the money will soon be distributed. I don't know the details, but I think all the grandchildren (like me) and great-grandchildren (like my kids) will get $1,000.

Which is kind of hilarious, because that's just a month of groceries 🤣 But for my kids it's going to be a huge jackpot!

Also on point for grandma, who always gave the same $20 or so for gifts, not realizing inflation was a thing 🤣
