I spent way too long figuring out why I could not retrieve a value from a map keyed by a string. Yes.
I was sure I had forgotten some outlandish behaviour of golangs maps. No.

It turns out that for a method get(s str) both get(id) and get("id") are valid but only one of them is useful.
