![Chat dialog with the telegram sticker bot. I'm trying to upload the "Son😭😭😭😭" meme to the bot.
Telegram: Alright! Now send me the sticker. The image file should be in PNG or WEBP format with a transparent layer and must fit into a 512x512 square
Me: 2026-06-29 14.54.12.jpg
Telegram: Invalid file type. Please convert your image to PNG or WEBP.
Me: [Image attachment] (Implied that I converted it to PNG, but then sent through the regular photo picker)
Telegram: Please attach the image as a file (uncompressed), not as a photo.
Me: sorry im fucking stupid one sec
Telegram: Please send me your sticker image as a FILE. With File in bold text](https://cdn.woof.tech/media_attachments/files/117/354/455/647/729/337/original/e25c9c28d80b06af.png)

Blue Bou SvenSvenbou@woof.techSep 29, 2026, 5:12 PM@Purple you got got by the sticker bot 😭
(Also if you didn't know yet, if you have your own sticker pack you can just edit it from the sticker selection. I find that a lot easier then the bot itself)- Purple :verified:Purple@woof.techSep 29, 2026, 6:13 PM
@Svenbou The mini-app has some flawed edge cases which required me to use the bot directly for this sticker.
The mini-app is awesome for stickers that are already square, or videos, but stickers that are of different proportions will have transparent borders attached to them :3

And here I am being sad that Matrix has no unified mechanism for stickers.
