The next 3D print design lifts this Dapol double home signal up to the right height so that the trains don’t hit it s they go up and down the incline

A black 3D printed square frame rests on a wooden surface, with a computer keyboard partially visible in the background. The a slot in the front corner to allow cables to feed out from underneath.
A model railroad setup featuring a signal mast with two GWR home signals, mounted on a black base. The background includes a painted sky and a grassy hillside, with nearby train tracks visible.

And finally I added a short piece of track to each of the first two (of three) carriage sidings, to ensure they were long enough for the carriages that will be stored there.

And that’s it for today. Tomorrow I’ll mount the two offset point motors and the three way point that they will drive.

The image shows a close-up view of model railway tracks placed on a dark surface. There are two parallel tracks with wooden ties, both have a short piece added in the end and the glue underneath is still drying as it is visible.
This angled photo shows the first two carriage sidings. The left siding is long enough for five Mk 1 mainline coaches and the right siding can take five shorter commuter coaches. There are some coaches in each siding.
