Things that give me some hope: Almost nobody is buying the AI-company framing of "it's dangerous out there, let's move slow".

Pretty much everyone AND almost all news outlets at least added some amount of "it's likely bullshit for cost cutting, IPO, doomsday marketing or competition-stifling regulation inducing reasons".
