    @rmondello This is an issue for me: The Passwords app unlocks using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode or Mac login password. You cannot set a different “master” password.

    My 1P master passphrase is much stronger than my device passcode or login password. Is there a sound argument for why it doesn’t need to be?

    Because (my understanding):
    - if you Mac gets hacked it’s game over (key loggers, screen loggers)
    most
    - account recovery is usually via e-mail, and if the attacker has access to email on your device…
