not to do the 'ethics aside' meme but this isn't patently ridiculous, you can ask it how to center a div, and god knows how much human suffering has gone into that particular problem

Computers and websites should be malleable for everyone (like in Smalltalk). Making the complicated DOM API accessible through natural language is great (though Google likely invented this feature for developers, not for end users).
I've also used that devtools chat before to quickly rearrange a meeting scheduling tool on demand from days to persons, for example.
