Had the thought of using a few of these to more quickly swap hard drives between old systems. Like what a normal person would use CF cards for.

Both of these are new in box. Same brandless Taiwanese provenance, same model number, same packaging. The metal parts are stamped from the same die and the plastic parts are from the same mold. The carriers are 100% physically interchangeable.

One small hitch: The electrical connections are *disastrously* incompatible.

Two retail boxes for mid-90s to early-00s items for a desktop computer. They go in a 5¼" drive bay and give you a removable module for a 3½" hard drive. Works similarly to the way aftermarket car stereos could be slid out of the dashboard of cars in the 80s and 90s.

The two boxes look almost identical. The design consists of very wide, chunky grey "3D" bezels with a green panel on the inside. The product itself is shown surprisingly small on the green panel, with the model number RH-06 written under it. Beneath that, on the 'bezel' part of the design, it says 'Removable Frame for 3.5" & 2.5" H.D.D.', and there's a yellow oval that says "NEW" up to the left. There's a European "CE" logo on the bottom edge, which I'm sure is totally real and earned. Oddly, only the box on the bottom has a title: it says "Mobile Rack" in large, drop-shadowed letter.

Other than that, the only differences between the two are that the one with no title on the front has a UPC code sticker on the back, and has "MADE IN TAIWAN" added to the artwork on the right-hand side of the box.
