Yeah, we’re talking it for ME/CFS off-label and its 150€/month legally over-the-counter... Insurance doesn’t cover it since it’s not approved. Side-effects are unpleasant when they appear, but it sure beats dying / being stuck in a dark room with only ~2h/day activity and hoping it doesn’t get any worse.

Also it being for weight loss when we’re kinda trying to gain weight feel like the heavens are laughing at us. Even more ironic that if we reached BMI 30 insurance would suddenly start paying for it. It’s just so weird... :blobbee_laugh_sweat:

Wow. Did not know it was being used to threat those. So sorry about your malady. Post covid? I've been following science Youtuber Physics Girl who has been mostly bedridden for over three years at this point with similar symptoms. Brain fog, weakness, fatigue, inability to tolerate light or noise. She managed to shoot and post a new science video a few weeks ago, but the backlash sent her right back to bedrest. It's been horrific to see someone so vital laid so low.

    Post covid?

Likely, vaccination damage, although the current doctor believes it’s Post-Borreliosis. Regardless, I’m still glad the immunisations helped so many, I’m just not happy how there was no monitoring or education on the potential damages that were quite well-known at the time. Our case would have been very different had we not pressed on for 2 years after being waved off with psychotherapy and sleeping pills by the GP to the point of stopping to see any doctors again. (It hadn’t been the first time being dismissed either and I had still believed in shouldn’t have to need no help back then.)

And now we’ll likely finally receive our denail of benefits letter any day now after having had to wait (and pay) for over a year to even be formally eligable for pension, so we’ll finally be allowed to sue insurance over maybe getting pension (apparently 50:50 chance).

No, I’m not thrilled at all how this is being handled.
