@strypey. Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. It was at 2pm, from Waitangi Park to Pukeahu.
About 200 people. A good mood, with the Brass Razoo band and a drum group, songs, speeches and poetry, and connections made to colonisation, the Land Wars, Pariʰaka, the Armenian genocide, our unnecessary involvement in so many foreign wars, the current invasions, war's benefits to the rich, and the environmental damage of war. There will doubtless be more.
My poster was not exceptional. One showed Luxon, with the heading, "SILENCE IS COMPLICITY".

Great work. Especially given you must all be reeling from the pounding climate change has given the city over the last week! I went to a Stop the War march in Tamaki Makaurau last weekend. Numbers fairly proportional to yours.

How do we grow this? Take the squares again? Defy the cops when they try to use Victim-Blaming Orders to move us on?

Living up the coast I escaped the storm entirely, which was very local and wasn't actually mentioned, (Today was one of the days you can't beat Wellington on.). Of course the storm does reflect the reality of global warming.

So I hear. From friends in Wainuiomata were mostly unaffected too. My friends in South Karori OTOH ... : (
