Hirano-jinja's (平野神社) grounds are relatively small, but the shrine still boasts 500 cherry trees, in a mind-boggling 50 varieties. Some, like the light green gyoikō-zakura (御衣黄桜), are quite rare.

Before the pandemic the shrine hosted large hanami gatherings, but these have now long gone🍻
