    I really cannot take Apple users seriously when it comes to privacy, because y’all will absolutely surrender all your data to Google, anthropic, or literally *anyone* if it means the slightest improvement in Siri.

    “We want a company that works to keep our data private”

    “Here’s a minuscule improvement in Siri”

    “TAKE MY DATA, ALL OF IT, HERE, TAKE MY CHILDREN’S TOO”

    Y’all are some clown show MFers. May as well just replace all your HomeKit shit with Alexa. It’s what you want and you clearly don’t give a shit about who has your data.

    @bynkii What are you referring to? The ChatGPT integration, or something else? Is there public data on the uptake rate of that integration?

    @bynkii Ah.

    Are you distrustful of Apple’s assurances that that won’t feed data back to Google?

    @fivetonsflax no. This has been a demand forever. It’s more a comment on the “privacy’s “important”, but if yeeting it into the shitter gets me the slightest improvement to convenience, then fuck privacy.”

    Aka “I want my privacy respected, now let me show you all our Ring doorbells”
