thanks a lot. I very much appreciated you going to such great lengths explaining the details.
TBH, I thought what you describe as FEPs was already the case as the "#Fediverse": a common standard (i.e. protocol) that ensured, that all platforms could communicate with each other. Some have more features, o.k., so these parts cannot seen by all, but nevertheless.
I really hope that this unification approach will be settled upon ASAP.
