These kinds of emoji changes are always fascinating to me from a textual preservation context. The tone of a message changes if you change the appearance of emoji characters - is the presentation of an archived messaging using something like this using the original visual context? The present day context?

The hairy heart was platform specific, but there are other changes like the gun emoji turning into a squirt gun - what does a message look like if you render it with a contemporary font?

@jonny Hey, I started running the SciOp torrents, and I noticed there are a bunch of movies from the Blender Foundation there (Big Buck Bunny, Tears of Steel, Sintel, etc).
They are marked as "endangered" even though I don't think they are (because they are available on Youtube, Vimeo, other torrents, archive.org, ...); and some of the torrents are 600GB worth of .png or .tiff images instead of a normal video file.
Is that expected?

I raised the issue in the private supporter chat, along with a side comment on a trivial matter with matrix.org's ticketing system. The Element CEO commented on the latter, but ignored the issue.

Matrix won't let me leave a room that permanently displays a notification.
Element developers say it's a Synapse bug (https://github.com/element-hq/element-web/issues/28599), Synapse devs tell me that it requires matrix.org admin intervention (https://github.com/element-hq/synapse/issues/18007).
matrix.org admins tell me they can't remove me from the room because they "observe very strict privacy policies" and I should ask the room admins to kick me.
The room admins have left (they upgraded the room), and can't join it back to do it.
