#NetBSD on Intel #N150 kernel panic question for the hive mind:

I have a new Beelink ME Pro NAS, which has an N150 and Intel PCH chipset on the SoC. Debian boots just fine but I would like to run *BSD on this.

Currently NetBSD produces this kernel panic on entering multiuser mode:
"panic: cpu1: time has not advanced in 1501 heartbeats"

EDIT: With thanks to @sborrill for the lead, this seems to be sorted 🎉

Sheesh. Isn't SystmOne great! How many security fails can you spot? 🙃

Today's balanced reading material

ok #retrocomputing nerds... would anyone know where I might find a copy of the Novell Netware C-Worthy TUI library?

I have done a reasonable amount of grubbing about in search engines, archive.org, etc. and come up with nowt, apart from this splendid reproduction by Jeff Merkey: https://github.com/jeffmerkey/netware-cworthy-linux

Why you ask? "Because" I reply... (also, I preferred C-Worthy to TurboVision's garish use of colour!)

#totp Hold on.. was Tony Christie the Green Cross Man?

#totp Alanis again - live band and everything (you can tell from the guitar leads and much looking at their instruments, not the crowd!)

#Gaussfest about to get spicy with demo #1 😎

#3GoodThings @3goodthings

1/ Family again! This time meeting up in Lincoln with our daughter + son #3 who's back in the UK for the first time since 2019 from his home in NZ. Hugs all round 🤗

2/ Good dentists - I can eat on both sides of my mouth again after a month of wonky chewing! 🥧

3/ Evening sunshine - the drive from Felixstowe to Lincoln this evening via Kings Lynn was very pleasant 🚗 😎

Irony detected: I'm a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) and of their Open Source Specialist Group (OSSG). Today I received a request to complete the OSSG annual survey of members, cue a link to...

forms.office.com 🤦🤦🤦

(Yeah I know, they probably need to use the same tooling as the wider BCS do but still...)

#3GoodThings @3goodthings

1/ My local garage team, who kindly squeezed in a service with my MOT on Friday without me asking after I had to cancel the week before! 🚙

2/ Roast dinners, not had the chance to cook one for a couple of weeks, so it was a pleasure today to feed the family 😋

3/ Hedgehogs! After a couple of years without seeing any, they are back in our garden! 🦔🦔☺

@kevlin this one looks worrying!

#3GoodThings @3goodthings

1/ Brothers! Mine has been holding the fort with our Dad while I have been having fun today - thanks bro 🙏

2/ Air-conditioned trains - the ride home from a very warm and overly humid London was super comfortable 🆒

3/ Other people - everyone we talked to today on a visit to the British Museum were friendly and chatty despite the oppressive temperature.

#3GoodThings @3goodthings

1/ A full choir at church this morning - lovely to have everyone singing together, and fun hymns too 🧑‍🎤

2/ Family (again!): I do enjoy cooking for lots of people (9 today), and get even more pleasure when they scoff the lot! 🍽️

3/ Boating! Finally got back on the water today courtesy of my friend and boat owner - this evening was a blast out on the Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) - taking fresh depth soundings of the shifting sands around the river entrance 🚤 😀

#totp Yaas! Breakup period ABBA... 💔

Every warning sign tells a story...
