It's really a beautiful autumn

Tummies :yayblob: 🥰

Why does everybody say I have a Holland accent when speaking German?? I'm from southern Spain!! 😭😭😭😭

Autumn season means I get to wear my long leather jacket again 🥰

I have a friend who wants to move out from their shitty Masto instance, and she doesn't know which one she should jump into

Does anyone have a recommendation? Ideally, one that doesn't have issues when seeing / interacting with accounts on this instance

She's into gamedev, so I guess that big mastodon.gamedev.social or whatever is named could work
But then again, any could serve, I guess

Does someone know where I can buy/order vegan cakes in Nuremberg?

My birthday is drawing close, and while my favourite cake is cheesecake, I would like to bring something to work/other where everyone can enjoy it

And before someone says it, Edeka only offers two variants (and I'm allergic to one of them. Nut allergy)

Boost this around, pls :BoostOK:

Right, I can post this:

Weeks before I vanished from everywhere, I did a DIY Air purifier box for a local event

A couple of PC fans, HEPA filters, a power regulator for the fan speed, some cardboard, and duct-tape

Very cheap yet bodies commercial ones easily

Clean and healthy air for everyone :3

"The sky bridge", "Bunker entrance" and "Irregular reflections of nature"

Commissions done by @wildflower

They are quite talented, so you should commission them some art!

Yesterday, I went around a bit to use for the first time my new camera, in order to test the different settings that it has

Being able to take photos in situations where in the past, my phone camera would have given up, is so satisfying

Hello everynyan!
Do you remember this?
https://chaos.social/@maestrafenix/116795399287177732

We want to make it happen (and we would go with Xonotic very likely https://xonotic.org/)
However, we need at least 4 old computers. Both for the server itself and some clients, so people can jump into it if they don't have a computer to play from

In theory, it should be okay both with Win and Linux, but they should be able to run the game

Please contact me or @vesen for info before Friday!

*Local trans woman forgets how exhausting it is to finish the last 1% of a project*

"At least this project will be the last big one for a long time" she mutters to herself, while already thinking in newer ones...

I'm genuinely considering buying an analog/digital camera, because every single modern phone has AI on their camera software ( with the promise of "super zoom/remove noise", it modifies instead the photos )

I got told by a dear friend to get a Canon T4I, but I'm open to more recommendations

Good things take time to arrive. And after a while awaiting, my fursona has been finally completed!! 🙌🎉

My dear friend GrimboGrim once again has created an incredible masterpiece. Unknowingly I pushed to the limit his skills, but the effort was so worth in the end

Thank you so much!! 👏👏

What if... what if we were to bring to Quellcode several old computers, set them in a LAN network, and put on them the ( still working! ) Quake 3 online demo, so folks play against each other?

Haha, what a crazy idea

...unless?

So I was chatting with others about Quellcode3, and upon me referring to it a couple of times as Q3, I suddenly got an idea:

The famous Quake 3 Arena box cover, but renamed as Quellcode

The workshop about Bevy was quite great!
While unfortunately, I spent most of the time solving issues related to depencies, so I had little time to work on modifying the example game, I still was able to make some changes

Made the player and enemies move faster and smoother, faster RoF and different projectile colour, and a visual indication that the player has some seconds of invincibility frames, upon being hit
And edited the game title: GPN Survivors Redux

#gpn24 #bevyengine #gamedev #rust

The jokes write themselves lmao

And that's a wrap!
Was a quite cool workshop, and for have lasted half a day, the hours flew by!

I'm definitely looking forward to our film after they get digitalised. The small preview we got by playing the negative, looked great!

Servo: Stupidly fast and low memory usage, but still in heavy WIP. Looks promising

GNOME Web: Almost on par with mainstream browsers, having even View Transitions. Worth a shot if you are on Linux

Pale Moon: Is old Firefox, with upgrades. Still has a long road ahead for supporting modern stuff
