Thinking of adding another 16/32 bit machine to my collection - mid 90's to mid 00's - but which one?

Anyone know a fairy easy/cheapish (yeah, I know...in this economy?!) to acquire retro machine? I got the popular ones covered (Amiga/Mac/Win3.1 PC plus a NeXT slab). Only condition, it can't have sync-on-green, unless you know where to get an adapter. Ideally hardware exists (converters) to wire it up to a HDMI-in monitor.

Anyone has suggestions?

I hate clothes shopping.

It's all sizes for thin and tall people. The shops are full of clothes for them.

But those thin an tall people do not exist, or else, why isn't THAT clothing all sold out and the rest is stuff for people like me? (apparently stuff fitting me doesn't sell. The piles of unsold clothing in the store "sell" for some reason)

But whatever I try, I feel like, this isn't made for my proportions, but for some entirely different species of people. I don't know for whom though.

Think I'm going to pick Pop OS to replace Windows. I like that it's Ubuntu/Debian based but not Ubuntu. Cosmic desktop feels snappy and fractional scaling works. Also, I used Pop as a daily driver at work around 2020-2021 and I know it works.
