Ah meh, looks like US banks are shutting down accounts from EU holders due to some EU law getting effective in January.
Same thing EU banks already do to US people to be fair.
How are people dealing with this? Any US banks that are willing to deal with the EU laws? #banking

#food It’s a little weird because this is with pork (Kassler) instead of chicken. We’ll see.

I wrote a blog post about the new website. Why Swift and how it works.

Rinse and repeat …

And this is what was built up after the reunification

This is what it looked like after the GDR regime took over (today sailing under the name of “Die Linke”)

#depol This is how my hometown looked after the Nazis took over the last time.

In theory vCards are tiny (500-2000 bytes), because they only have a few bits of well structured information in a dense format.
In practice vCards are actually pretty large (200k-1MB+), because they tend to embed the photo/avatar of the contact.

He survived, so for his 100th it’s going to be 10% larger, obviously #food

Are there screenshots of iOS apps that have not been ported to the iPhone Duo? Are they like unusable? How does it look like? Like a small thing in a frame like on an iPad? What if they already support iPad?

TIL that #Apple passwords defaults to allow websites to automatically upgrade existing accounts to use passkeys. O_o

Thanks to @iamkonstantin for the alert about it before something happened to my accounts.

I made my dad a 2.5 pound Tomahawk for his 90th birthday. He actually ate 2/3 of it. Now I’m kinda worried that might have been too much. #food

My Friday evening activity ... #food

Due to AI, I have disabled external pull requests on all my repos.

Open source, as we have known it, was fun while it lasted. (It’s been 15 years for me)

I will still maintain projects and handle issues.
