So, when did cooking get so exciting it causes insomnia? I cooked twice this week, first babi ketjap terong, simply putting stuff in an earthenware pot in the oven, then today sliced meat with chanterelle sauce, and now...

I cannot think, I cannot sleep, I cannot stay awak.

"Marking the 30th anniversary of software developer KDE on October 14, the company released"

The 'company' -- what company? Are there only idiots or only bots left at @arstechnica 's desk?

#kde has never been a company...

Dear capitalists,

I'm not asking you to stop exploiting us. I won't complain if you destroy the climate with your greed. I guess I can live with being replaced by a robot. If you then choose to end my unprofitable existence by harvesting my body for spare organs, well, to the winner goes the spoils I suppose.

But is it really, really necessary to make clothes pegs out of plastic that instantly degrades in Greek sunlight? Can you maybe change that one little thing?

At least, can you say you'll consider it?

Yours respectfully,

SecondUniverse

Please help finance GIMP, Inkscape and Krita instead of spending your money on trying to get Claude to make you a Photoshop clone.

Okay, "Hello, I'm a witch" was a realy good read. Good enough that I reread the last volume three times in a day. The anime seems decent, as @animefeminist noted, but I really liked the world building, and how Rose was clueless, lacked common sense, decisive, strong and honest with herself and others. Also, lots of very fun little scenes. I'm glad I bought both volumes.

I read some post about how Mastodon consists primarily of German-speaking creatures talking in English. I'm gonna do a poll, need to test that. Boosts highy appreciated!

So, do you speak German?

The latest page of @AzulCrescent 's comic is cute, relatable and _so_ well done.

Two rounds of edits and 300 printed pages (I write on the computer but edit on paper) later, I never thought I'd see this word on the title page.

It's nice.

You’ve been seeing very large #bumblebees on the wing for the past while.

Why?

Okay I’ll tell you why in this quick thread if you promise to #repost as the more people who know that these are queens the more likely that someone will help some out meaning more colonies next year.
Deal?

@isisevrinen hartgrondig eens.

Een serieuze no-go dus!)
