I bought two crosspoint compatible device before learning crosspoint is slop.
I feel so very stupid.

@alice hey, @koalou is telling me she is never cute and thatI should make her accept that she is. I would appreciate a bit of help on that front plz thx

I hate when order get large shipping fee then there is a surprise import fee

This is supposed to be the escaoe key of my keyboard but since the accident, it require very vertical push to work so it's laying around until maybe I replace the mechanical switch of the key.
@hipsterelectron I might have mentionned it to you but bot shown it

I hate when I get asked for 2FA, there is a prefilled input "trust this device" and if I uncheck the input, it's still pre-checked the next time.

Why does tech can't understand consent?

I don't understand who thought it was a good idea for python to have a toml module following the same API as their json module but read only

@icculus did you see https://hear-me.social/@SPF/116484415373426413 ?

Apparently, a digimon can be a fighter jet with boobs.

This lead me to this funny idea to make a runner compatible with forgejo. All I need is a bit of code that poke codeberg and run some shell, right?
Took me a while before finding the API because I'm dumb and single-minded and I was deep-neck in code.
It talk protobuf.
So I need to untangle how protobuf work. First few stab failed so I tried to recompile the source one.
Turn out, you can do go install and it use global go to install local go and package into local go. You can do tbat forever.

So.
I started a toy last week. I would like to make some CI workflow for it before letting it rest. Nothing fancy, maybe some test, a build and publish on version increase. Mostly to document the workflowc
Except I moved to codeberg? So I don't have free actions. Setting up a self-hosted runner point to forgejo's runner doc but it's not available on openbsd and that's what I run at home. woodpecker is also not an option.

I hate non-explicit import.
Where did that magic variable come from? How am I supposed to read your code if you use made up word without defining them?

@Tusky what would be your thought on an optional proof-reading mode? Like before sending a post, you get a modal showing your post back to you with unknown word underlined in red and maybe some light grammar checking that may catch typing i instead of o?

that's usually a feature of the keyboard but I feel like it introduce as much typo as it correct so I don't use it

The feeling when your post have not one but two typo and someone boost it

@hipsterelectron did you see https://www.lego.com/en-fr/product/smart-play-ditto-as-squirtle-movie-night-40887 (gift for buying a bunch of lego pokemon with smart tag)

maybe I need to get really drunk

I'm wondering if I could put a client to listen to the music on the webapp letting you choose what is playing.

There is this app to expose a music library to the internet which I forgot the name and honestly don't care as they use slop to write code.

But this make me want to do something similar and slop-free? And I'm thinking like, I could put an ice-cast server on my home server, plug it on mpd. Home server already have my full music collection.
Then I could add a small webapp serving as a client for mpd. Anyone can come listen to the ice-cast output, anyone can queue any song. We can listen together.
