I was delighted to find several kinds of Sprague canned soups at the nearby Shouldice farm outlet, the one on Richmond near Queensway Carleton Hospital. They also had several kinds of beans.

Do you know anyone in Nebraska who worked for Union Pacific in the '70s–90s or is a ham radio or vintage computing enthusiast? I'm following leads on Teletype equipment used there.

Boosts appreciated.

My friend in Hintonburg says he got warning as well. So going downtown will probably not get me out of tornado warning area.

Ugh, just got a tornado warning on phone. It is quiet outside (apart from occasional thunder-burp).

Go to 18:00 shift downtown, or not?

Need some cooking advice.

Haven't bought celery much lately. What can I use instead of celery in tuna or egg salad sandwiches? I think the crunch would be lacking without celery.

"Science fiction isn't fact, no matter what Big Tech tells you"
The interviewee (English and literature professor Teresa Heffernan) mentions @emilymbender as one of her sources.

Dr. Heffernan explains AI, and the uses it is being put to, very well. People who are intimidated by the "AI" discourse should definitely give this a listen.

A friend has a solarium in her home that needs re-caulking indoors and outdoors.

She's looking for someone with the following skills:

- Very comfortable and safe working on a high ladder. There are two stories of windows in the solarium on the second floor.

- Experienced with caulking exterior windows.

She has a scaffold for the interior work, and if necessary can borrow a tall ladder for exterior work.

I can pass on contact info.
