(me if i was 3 days old) Getting a hang of this "objects" thing; initially, everything was a relentless torrent of unnavigable qualia, but it looks like there's patterns to this stuff.

Anyone remember Professor Branestawm? He was a children's book character who typified the "absent-minded professor" archetype. Highly focused on one thing at a time, so much so that he could be almost completely unaware of the world around him. Forgetful, clumsy, prone to leaps of logic, and having an unusual vocabulary. Eccentric in dress and tastes, childlike at times, with terrible understanding of social skills and norms, which drives him to prefer time alone or with close friends...

He is smart, but rude,
skilful, but stubborn, and unable to see his shortcomings.

His stuff that isn't pretty, but it "works".

"At least we have something", we say.

But with time, the shortcomings cumulate, and we end up with an ever growing pile of trash.

And then, we are told that this is the best that can be done.
That doing better is too hard.
That it requires too much effort.

But perhaps it is not so hard,
perhaps it just takes a different mentality.

The biggest challenge of being an artist is facing the empty sheet every day.

And by "sheet", I mean mean "bank account"...

I unfollowed some awesome people here, just because I want to keep my screentime low, plus I still want to escape from #computerland and have some more diverse interests.

Tell me if you know some awesome people here that don't touch computers.

No true hacker would prompt. Period.
