Well I did my first longer distance trip in the ID3 Yesterday.
Left with 76%, did 110 miles and got to my destination with 33%.
Started on way back and did another 24 miles arriving at the rapid charger with 24%.
Got 177kW peak on the rapid charger adding 35kWh in just 19 minutes. On the leaf a similar amount of time was about 11kWh.
Charged to 70% and got back home with 40%, so only needed to spend 10-15 minutes instead.
Excellent.

Any recommendations for Home Assistant Capable Doorbell Buttons?
I currently use a basic doorbell button wired up to an ESP running Esphome that then triggers an automation when pressed to play a doorbell tune via our speakers.
But I need to look at moving to something that's battery powered, I don't think I want a camera based one as I don't think it'd give us the best camera view either.

Well the last bit of Unifi kit in the house has also been yeeted.
I had a Unifi AC Lite in the garage still for the IOT in there and to cover the driveway but found a used Zyxel at cashies dirt cheap.
Now almost fully Zyxel now as also got another Zyxel switch giving me an extra 8 gigabit ports, 2 more 2.5gig and then connected via 10gig to my other 8 x 2.5gig switch.
And currently Opnsense on a little ITX Computer as my router.
My FTTP Saga gets worse.
Openreach Have informed me that they've cancelled plans to provide my area with FTTP.
One of around 20 streets in the entire town left to cover.

What suggestions do people have for storing network kit?
I want to get something to put my kit in and tidy it up. However looking at some of the 10" Network cabinets seems to be over the £100 mark.
I have 1-2 switches, Virgin / Docsis modem and a small ITX PFSense box
And that concludes my testing of 3 of the more Premium EVs. The Mach-E, Polestar 2 and Tesla Model 3.
Annoyingly the Model 3 was likely the best out of them. But still not what I want from an upgrade.
Now to potentially look at some more mid range options. Or back to petrol?

It still surprises me how quick dust can build up on computers.
This is my Radiator after only 3 months. Most of the case has mesh on too to prevent dust getting in, in the first place.
Welp, the company I work for has been acquired by a nationwide logistics co.
Not sure if this will be good or bad for me yet, if it's the latter then not really looking forward to having to go job hunting 😫.
Overall it just felt boring and well cheap. I'm looking at it from a £20k used perspective and thinking it's not worth that, yet alone considering that brand new they're technically £40-50k cars!
The test drive was also one of the most restrictive I've had for a while, 30 minutes max including getting seats / wheel adjusted and back. The test centre for me was in such an in town location I didn't really get enough time to test it fully.
Politics aside, it was just meh. The search continues.
Well I did test drive a Tesla Model 3 yesterday.
And I didn't like it.
Whilst it has the range and certainly more than enough speed overall it was just a tad underwhelming.
My biggest issues were the lack of dash, just give me a tiny screen with the speed in front of where I'm looking.
I didn't like the steering wheel, it turns out they're 1-2" smaller than most cars. Also had a weird texture / finish.
The sunroof was kinda distracting / in my eye line.
