I wonder if tty is different from ssh

I thought i was familiar with the console but i got a new one today.
"Type this, then go to tty and do the install"
I typed it and the screen went blank!

I think before Mint broke it was using two video drivers. I tried to tell it to use one. Recovery mode seems to be using zero video drivers, and i cannot install the drivers i need because they are too old now (seriously? I mean yeah it's ten years old but c'mon!)

I spent like an hour trying to get my PC to boot Ubuntu install media. I never got that to work but somehow i got a Mint recovery option and it's like "your graphics driver is wrong?"

A fun thing about using Linux is when it doesn't work i can blame Linus

An SUV tries to go up a muddy bank. It makes it eventually. But with great difficulty.
Next a French car, the C15, goes up like there's not even mud under its tires

One time i drove a Suzuki Swift to a cornfield maze and it rained while we were there. The dirt parking lot became slick clay mud clogged with giant trucks that couldn't get traction.

Me and three friends got into the Suzuki Swift and drove right around all of them without any effort

I bet there are some carefully considered engineering problems that got solved to make these work reliably. I would be interested to check it out

Ukraine says stuff to have a beneficial impact in their war effort
A lot of people want to see Russia hurt
People share news they want to believe faster than news that is true

And my last thought:
Russia might like us to believe their operations are offline because it will make us less critical of their propaganda when we see it

Unfortunately, i think he has plans to die in a bunker surrounded by his lackeys. I'm kind of hoping people abandon him before we get that far but his mental sickness combined with his ability to bring cash flow causes a reaction in certain people which tells me that's not likely

I think Donald Trump should stop bombing innocent people before the world does it for him. Before he gets a bunch of Americans rightfully killed for following his orders

If i say Israel sucks that isn't an invitation for a theocratic discussion on Judaism and what a biblical apocalypse actually looks like

I'm really just saying a country sucks because it does terrible things. That's all. People should stop overcomplicating this

I just read about the shit Seinfeld just pulled and i gotta say, is it really necessary for a news story about him to say "Israel denies committing genocide"? It seems so gauche after all this time to still take genociders at their word

Holy shit do not read about six flags today unless you like harrowing stories of actual death

I'm not sure what everyone else thinks it looks like but i see these plumes from space launches as puncture wounds in the atmosphere

For people answering "some other way", I'm curious what they are 🤓
