#TechStoryTime: I just bought two Video CDs from an online shop recently. Johnny English and Bruce Almighty are the ones I ordered. The package arrived, and they have some quirks in their packaging (Johnny English was loose, Bruce Almighty suffered a hinge problem™). Somehow the disc 1 of Johnny English #VCD didn't work on VLC, disc 2 did. So I cleaned with a gel toothpaste (later found out I should've bought regular white toothpaste), cleaned the VCD up with a damp cloth (in a circular motion which is a no-no after reading AFTER cleaning) and it still didn't work.

YET IN MPC-HC IT WORKED. Somehow I forgot I got another media player capable of playing these discs installed on my desktop.

And yes I partly blame my own laziness by going for the AI overview 😓...

Then I was immediately disappointed when I actually read through the website and found out it was #AI #Slop and even the platform encourages AI-generated artworks to be made. What a sad world.
