When you vote, Ukraine wins.

(Naah. Actually, it's THIS gross.)

He "gets" it.

Ukraine is winning because of good choices...
and, increasingly, those good choices ignore American military products and services.

As I was saying yesterday...
The US - and, specifically, SpaceX, are NOT reliable neutral carriers.
Currently, that means they can and will screw you over, if they stand to potentially benefit... and they can't even be counted on not to use their backend access to spy on you.

Governments do business with them at their peril!

Theory:
Zohran Mamdani is the pragmatic, effective Bernie Sanders / AOC who is actually electable at the national level.

At minimum, as a VP, he would make a more mainstream frontrunner palatable.

(Except Kamala Harris, who is a permanent loser at the national level.)

Republicans not amused with Trump & Elon conspiracy of lies.

That's alright though. None of them will be missed after Election Day.

We should create "The British Museum of NYC", and fill it with reminders of why imperialism is bad, m'kay?!

It's only a betrayal if you were incredulous enough to believe his good intentions in the first place.

Trump has been a personal enemy to Ukraine and Zelensky ever since he basically tried getting Z. to lie about Hunter Biden.

If you haven't noticed yet, Trump holds grudges against people who he can't buy off... as an organized criminal might do.

Remember Enron?!

Remember that audio of the two energy arbitragers talking about Grandma Millie?!

And remember what HAPPENED to Enron because of this?

This is worse. MUCH, MUCH worse.

In all fairness, Soylent Green was able to do things to safeguard the food supply that no other company was capable of.

The issue here is what Chuck Yeager knew: You can innovate the fsck out of things, and eventually reach a "good enough" answer, but it will cost you stacks of dead bodies.

But he signed up for that risk.
Tesla drivers did not.
Black auto workers falling sick - and some presumably dying - during the unvaccinated days of COVID because Elon repeatedly violated state health requirements did not.

Elon is socializing lethal risks ALL.THE.TIME.
No one should have the right to say that is okay.

"but in fairness, SpaceX and Tesla were both able to do things no other US companies were capable of..."
...by lying to their investors & customers, having civilians die alpha testing their products, and violating both the letter and the intent of the law... all while creating a hostile work environment for many of their employees, especially minorities and women.
Elon Musk did what Elizabeth Holmes went to jail for.
The difference being: nobody died at Theranos.
He's a serial fraudster.

It's not even just that.
The big thing is that Ukraine is winning the war on the ground, and decisively winning the war of attrition.

And that has everything to do with the majority of Ukrainians understanding the existential need for some to be drafted to fight this war, and just wanting a fairer system for it to happen and a focus on not throwing lives away, while Putin avoids this decision, as it risks destabilizing his regime, while his people just don't see the need to personally fight it.

Good summary.

How to guarantee your company will never have a successful IPO, as your investors start demanding their money back, SOON.

Cleaned up old photo of teenaged me.

I look forward to SpaceX and Tesla being companies that are only supported by white supremacists and aging, fringe vocal minorities in Texas.

Who would you trust most as a "neutral carrier" for communications?
