The Trump/Putin diesel deal has got to be more "flooding the zone".
With Russian diesel production down between 25 and 30% after Ukrainian attacks, and civilian shortages with limits on how much civilians can buy (50L a day for Diesel) and long queues for fuel , even in Moscow (3-4h). Selling to the US is not going to play well at home.
Still, on the international stage, Putin has driven another wedge between the US and Europe - that'd be worth a tanker or two.
With the Gulf operation "Epic F..kUp", or whatever it is called, not going great, more of Pete's incompetence coming to light in Kuwait AND the Midterm elections looking like the Dems might win both houses simply by virtue of not being Trump's party, I do wonder what the next big distraction will be. Invade Cuba? Greenland? Canada?
