That's the excellent Ashley Jackson, a military historian at Kings College, London. I enjoyed his encounters with Philomena the most because he seems like the sort of professor who could kill a student stone dead at ten paces just by looking at them the wrong way. Yet he has this deadpan drollery when he probably knows what's going on. They're well matched.
