Today at #HerneBay the mighty #KAF
outnumbered the fash. Our count put them at somewhere between 70-120, whereas we were 200-250

The Kent Online FB account says the same

How do RAF planes defend Saudi Arabia from Houthi missiles?

How can a plane shoot down a missile.

I would suggest their purpose is to attack launch sites?

Today we found out that various British institutions, including the national government website was looked after by, Google a foreign company.

This does not seem right.

Last week, #Palantir just forced Sadiq Khan to back down after the London Mayor tried to block the US spytech giant's contract with the Met Police.

Khan dared to say public money should go to companies that share London's values, and Palantir hauled him to the High Court. And after that, Khan's office released a statement praising the company - and Palantir is back in the running for the £50 million Met Police contract.

My question is ...

If Palantir can force the Mayor of London to back down, what will it do to ministers deciding the future of our NHS data?

Yemm the Labour MP for Mansfield has urged the Government to address carbon costs and to “support responsible energy production in the North Sea” in its upcoming Budget.

He has written:

“We should not have to choose between meeting our climate commitments and supporting the industries and communities that sustain our economy.

“Britain needs to make more at home, protect good jobs, and give businesses the confidence to invest for the long term.”

Prior to now Yemm has cited Power Saving Solutions and the construction company JCB as “two great examples of private-sector firms enfranchising themselves in our mission to make Britain a clean energy superpower”.

He has received a £10,000 donation from Power Saving Solutions in April last year but did not mention this in his speech.

Something slightly arrogant when he compares his fine words to the speeches of 1945 Attlee; 1964 Wilson, 1997 Blair

I have given you honesty, ideas, and a clear direction for the country we all love.

Oh dear

I find it extraordinary that the Labour Party is discussing reducing the money the pensioners should rightly have after working hard all their lives when the top 5% of the country own 65% of our nation's wealth. As best as I understood, the Labour Party was set up to look after the workers not protect the privileged few.

Is Labour finally getting it right?

Today, their foreign secretary Ed Milliband said at Conference: "I want to say to the millions of people in this country, and indeed elsewhere, who have been moved and outraged by the plight of the Palestinian people, we hear you. You were right."

"We have reset our approach. We call out ethnic cleansing by the settler terrorists in the West Bank. We call out the evidence of war crimes in Gaza. We call out Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine. And we match words with action. We will ban the import of goods from illegal settlements. We will disrupt the supply lines of British finance, British construction, and British services for illegal settlements. "

Promising signs, perhaps ....

One year after the UK and a host of other other countries recognised the state of #Palestine, there has been little improvement for its citizens. If anying the situation has got worse, as settler violence has soared, restrictions on the Palestinian movement have increased, and the Palestinian Authority has only been weakened.
