My new 2026 demo reel is a work in progress.

For now, it’s just over three minutes. By chance—and with a little help—it’s the number Pi: 3:14:16 😉

I still need to add my shots from De Gaulle, so I’ll have to cut more if I want to keep that magic number.

DM me, if you’d like early access and are willing to give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Finally, Masterplan premiered last Friday on Amazon Prime!

I’m very proud of the work the #Benuts team has done. We completed 400 shots involving compositing, and CG, including an environment, a drone, a helicopter, FX, a VR sequence, and much more…

One more video from the last #CriticalMass in #Brussels. Looking forward to the next one on Friday, 30 October!

Ukraine blows up Russian data centres and immediately and mysteriously online talk about Germany’s Far Right AfD virtually disappears.

Stop Putin you stop the Far Right.

Officially kicked off my annual self-host user survey this morning, which consists of 45 questions across several topics (including a new section on AI!).

Last year's survey received over 4,000 responses - the goal is to hit 5k this year!

I was looking to add a new node to my #Proxmox cluster, but memory is crazy expensive.

I checked how much I paid for 64 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM two and a half years ago: 183 CAD, or 114 €! Now, it costs almost six times as much. I should have ordered more…

By the way, it’s less expensive in Canada than in Europe…

So I’ve put off adding my new node… 😢
Maybe that’s better for the environment 🌍 😉

Col des Limites to Saint-Étienne - 48 km - 300 m

The last photos from my ride.

Initially, I wasn’t sure whether to take my Brompton; I feel strange travelling without it. It was a good decision, as many trains were full, and having it gave me more options.

Lovely multimodal travel 😉

Col des Limites to Saint-Étienne - 48km - 300m

I attended an impromptu family gathering in Carpentras, France, this week. After I stayed near Ambert. Due to limited train service, I returned via Saint-Étienne on Saturday

To save my sister time & fuel, I rode my #Brompton partway; she dropped me at the Col des Limites, so lovely downhill ride 😉

I never thought my post would go so viral.
I’d like to thank everyone for the boosts!

I don’t know if this will help me find a job, but I really appreciate the support from the Mastodon community!

I know Mastodon isn’t LinkedIn 😉

But, my time at Benuts as a Visual Effects Supervisor has come to an end. Here are some of the main projects I’ve recently supervised

- Undisclosed Netflix feature, 65 shots, including intensive destruction work
- Masterplan, Amazon MGM Studios, 400 shots
- De Gaulle, J'écris ton nom, Pathé, 130 shots

Let me know if you hear of any opportunities. I’m authorized to work in Canada 🇨🇦 and Europe 🇪🇺

Boost will be highly appreciated!

Fantastic September Critical Mass ride in Brussels!

Unfortunately, I don’t know how many people took part, but there were lots! Check out the second picture. The mood was great, although some drivers lost their patience.

We finished at #Circularium in #Anderlecht, dancing to great music. A lovely way to end a crazy week of deliveries at work.
