how would you typically describe yourself socially

where can I get a decently sized peanut butter trowel

a videogame is no longer classified as "the triple A" unless Mads Mikkelsen is both the bad guy and the protagonist

broadly speaking, what is the difficulty level of rocking a rhyme that happens to be right on time?

now here is an absolutely wonderful feller doing absolutely wonderful work.

if you're interested in liberating our societies from oligarchy please give his work a suitable deep dive and consider sharing it around. his commitment is as incredible as his cause.

a lot of my neighbours didn't know it was going to happen at all. I was aware it was being discussed but no solid plans. then vvvvt, gone.

they are now trying to remove the stumps. but they are so solid the chainsaws keep overheating. heh.

my once beautiful street now looks like an urban infrastructure's representation of a shaved cat.

yesterday the city council cut down every tree on my street, which has had a drastic increase in building temperature immediately before the super el niño summer. in 24 hours I have:

1. gone through the 27 stages of grief.
2. learned the council's multi-year plan for replacing them with a species whose roots will rail less hard out upon their concrete prison.
3. seen a lot more of my neighbours.
4. and I suppose been seen a lot more of too.

my new politics is: net curtains for every home.

two days ago I lifted over my head the heaviest barbell I have ever done that with and for more than one rep! I am going to continue increasing that, it is a very satisfying and good feeling exercise.
arms overhead, with or without weight.

either way, looking forward to bursting out of my paltry human skin tomorrow to find out

that bizarre old phenomenon where yesterday being a thorough arm day somehow means today my legs hurt.

it is as though I am a caterpillar in a coccoon and the exercise has liquified my entire bodily content to reform my grub-like physique into a different body, hopefully a muscle creature but I suppose I would also accept winged creature

most humans who've tried it are like: "predation is natural" [ends conversation]

the rest of the point these critters lack the faculties to put into words is: "...and you can't change nature." [poisons ocean, collapses climate, extincts species, creates plagues, detonates nukes] "and that's that. we couldn't change anything even if I wanted to."

it is a sick joke where the species responsible for stewarding the living world is an invasive, genocidal, ecocidal species.

yet the vision lives.

nature is brutal.
our responsibility is to steward the living world.

there's a defect in human perceptual behaviour where we observe things (like predation or symbiosis) and internalise them as laws rather than circumstances.

if we didn't practice that defect we could already be stewarding the living world in a way where symbiosis becomes an easier option than crude predation.

people typically prefer to talk about the iphones on which they talk about iphones.

but it's a vision we could have.

if cracks are how the light gets in explain why it's where the sun don't shine

once a day make sure to say something impulsively negative to someone online, a predictable routine is healthy during periods of change

are you having a nice time on feddy?

I do advocate training to failure. but not this level of failure.
