I hope it works out for you! In a million years, I never imagined this would be how things played out (for now, at least!). One kid: extremely cosmopolitan and I thought living abroad would happen. The other: less surprising. It’s very, very nice for all of us (and of course all the dogs) to be together.

1. My adult kids now live near me and my husband. They have found people they love and we love them.
2. Saturday: Made a really nice brunch for one kid and his soon-to-be fiancée.
3. Sunday: Made a really nice dinner for the other kid and her fiancé.

I accepted this nickname with pride. FYI, when I was a little kid, I used to be teased with “shrimp cocktail.”
@CindyWeinstein be careful what you wish for. i have known many chihuahuas. the one i loved the most was also the most reticent to ever show affection. he was truly autistic. twice i had to take him to a vetenarian. i covered him with bedsheets the best i could. and i walked on ice covered streets so very carefully. his problem was recurring ear infection which ruined his balance.
