The #covid lab leak theory is back again.

Here's what I think: there was a lab accident in the summer of 2019 releasing a SARS-CoV-2 progenitor. This was not yet viral enough to cause a pandemic and this is what has been found in Brazil and Italy and was superspread at the Wuhan Military games. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0013935122013068

Then this virus mutated (maybe human->animal->human?) or just mutated in humans and superspread in the crowded Wuhan market.

So *both* origin stories are true to an extent.
