punishing parents for bad kids may help them try to control them.
no one is allowed to touch them.
anecdotally, i think some need spanking.

It can be a measured response to the child being an asshat, or it can be the parent lashing out in the only way they know how to assert dominance. The former is fine and should be encouraged, the latter is not.

@Kierkegaanks @amiserabilist @Elleaster I was working in a store once and someone’s kids were destroying the place. They just said “oh honey put that down” and went back to ignoring them. I wanted to say “slap your kids or I’ll slap you” but I refrained.
Corporal punishment for shithead parents should be a thing!

@Kierkegaanks @Elleaster @amiserabilist fair. I don’t think it should be the first option, but it should be an option. I’ve pushed buttons until (after repeated warnings it was the next option) I got a smack and afterwards was like “yep, I deserved that”. I’ve also been hit in anger.
