    If owning a classic old car is anything like owning a classic old tape deck, I don't know I want one lol

    At least when the tape deck goes wrong, at worst it will chew on some tapes

    A media console with several hifi devices, one of them a Nakamichi tape deck, which is on and playing a tape. In front of the console there's a stool with a Rigol oscilloscope, with its probe wires connected to the output of the amplifier. There's also an iPad resting on the stool, with several dirty large qtips on it

    In nakamichi's defense, their chewed tape detection system is incredible, it always stops playing immediately, before any damage is done to the tape
