It's #SpookySeason : we all know the Victorian #horror classics, but what about some disturbing, yet often iconic, tales from the 20th Century?

Here are a few of our resident Gothic Fiend, Joe's, favourites.

Bradbury retains such a slow burning sense of mounting unease, Salem's lot brings the vampire mythos into a moder-day small town, I am Legend is one of the finest horrors to capture the paranoia of the Cold War era, and Rice's Interview With the Vampire is arguably the most influential vampire tale since Stoker.
