Seconding both of these spoopy season PSAs:
—Artificial spiderwebs outdoors will kill birds, bats, and loads of other critters. You might not see/notice it the fallout. But as a wildlife rehabber… it’s a fact and a completely avoidable tragedy. Please don’t.
—Charcoal as a decorative food additive *may* inactivate some meds. There is debate about how much it affects different classes of drugs, but if you’re taking anything that you rely on to be safe/alive… skip the charcoal-black treats.
