Hmmm, I wonder what that screeching owl sound could be at this time out night?

I think it's finally time to close the windows, they've been open since spring.
The heating does not come on until daylight savings ends.
and that's a soggy, cold, end to week 3, and one third of the way through the Cto5K programme.
if i'm keeping this up through the winter, i probably need some gloves and thermals.
At some point Microsoft is going to admit it doesn't know how to generate html right?
I mean what even is ...

Week 2 done.
I'm sure that Week 2 Run 3 always hurts more than Week 2 Run 2.
Week 3 begins on Sunday.
This morning has been a very Gun N' Roses morning.
The afternoon will likely be the same.
Instead of saying "our software went rogue", say "sorry, vibes are off"
Will this be a year where I just enjoy American Horry Story, or will I try and work out the plot and turn it in to a chore again?
@_thegeoff Did you see the Aurorawatch notices? It's too cloudy by me, but you may have better luck? https://aurorawatch.lancs.ac.uk/
Signs I may need a holiday, being told "I can see how tired you are through your makeup, it's not doing anything to hide it"

[ 12.239] (II) NVIDIA GLX Module 580.178.04 Tue Jul 7 12:06:26 UTC 2026
[ 12.242] (II) NVIDIA: The X server supports PRIME Render Offload.
[ 12.243] (II) NVIDIA(G0): NVIDIA GPU Quadro M520 (GM108GL-A) at PCI:2:0:0 (GPU-0)
(Yes, i know that Mozilla/Thunderbird are flirting with the dark side of GenAI and I should find an alternative, are #Vivaldi still being anti-ai?)
One advantage I'm (re?) discovering about using gentoo is that I can just pop my local patches in /etc/portage/patches.
Why is this an advantage? It means I don't have to build a fresh .deb every time thunderbird gets updated to add my oauth2 provider back in.
I just need to see if my nvidia dGPU ( Quadro M520 Mobile) works with PRIME automatically or if there's shenanigans ahead for that too.
I already had to mask the newer drivers because the dGPU is oooold by nvidia standards.
This weeks in-person CO2 levels peaked at 2100ppm by the end of the day.
I'm sure that's fine.
