Oh, there’s a new #ShaunTheSheep #movie out there and nobody told us! Haven’t seen any marketing about it whatsoever!

Awesome clip of #BruceWayne studying #judo or … er, something. Sensei looks awfully familiar.

#Apple and #Nvidia both pledged $25 million to #Trump’s White House #ballroom, making them top donors to everyone’s favourite project. Donors also included companies like #Cisco and #Microsoft.

I was looking to finally get a new #AppleTV device as ours is getting one a bit (could be retired to other TV). But at €350 that’s a big fat nope (they used to be just over €100).

What on earth is going on with #Apple these days. It’s not like the hardware is some super high end job.

Facing a lack of test drives of the #KGM #Musso #EV that would show it doing actual work, and driving through rougher terrain, I put together this #testDrive with me and @ymb venturing through #Finland towards #Viitasaari and back, to pick up some firewood. I also show some features generally not covered by other online reviews and videos, including a mode that can be used for actual #offroad driving.

Let me know what you think!

One downside to Netscape not having chosen #Tcl as their web browser scripting language (which was considered) is that we have much less secure Javascript running.

With Tcl you can create sub-interpreters and due to the dynamic nature of the language even core constructs and commands can be replaced, tweaked or removed. There is the concept of 'SafeTcl' which is an interpreter with greatly reduced capabilities. This would allow sites to load 3rd party scripts and fully control what they can do.

And they’re doing it in #Finland, of all places.

One of the most incredible stories I have read. In 1998 #KarlBushby started from Chile towards his home in Hull, England, vowing to do it without using any transport. Now, 28 years later, after walking, and swimming, around the whole globe, he has just swum across the English Channel and is now but a short walk — relatively speaking — from his destination.

Can this be? Someone is planning to launch a #printer that doesn’t suck?

I’ll be honest, I don’t even really care that much about the self-assembly or open source side of this project. Just not being evil, and working would be enough.

(Then again I was thinking that next printer should be the famous Brother laser printer :) )

I know it’s an #AppleTV show but the level of #Apple product placement in #TedLasso is such that it actually takes me out of the action, breaks the veil of reality. It’s just not believable that absolutely everyone uses an #iPhone, their laptops are exclusively Macs, they have casual discussions about iCloud and ask Siri rather than their LLM of choice.

False flag operation being considered by #Russia? I mean why else randomly mention that they will use every means, including nuclear, to protect #Kaliningrad when basically nobody has shown any particular interest in it?

Actually it’s %Q (capital). Of course a capital Q.

#Tcl also supports scanning them:

% clock scan "Stardate 40000.3"
504940320

Though it’s a bit unclear what the logic is. From what I can tell it does not match with those in #StarTrek TNG.

Nevertheless, I learnt something new today! I wasn't aware of this Easter egg :)
