I have just over 1000 unit tests for the Dinky language, all written in Dinky itself which is like a double test. It take about 1 sec to run them all, so I run them every time to game starts. I will pull them out of the released version because 1) Not much the player can do and 2) we're in a lot of trouble if we got this far with failing unit tests.

Hackers wear cat ears to indicate how easy it is to get them to do what you want them to do.

As any hackspace will confirm, dealing with a group of them really is like herding cats.

Cats with opposable thumbs who can fuck around with mains voltage and email servers.

@rixx also they like to push things over the counter; like integers

Echte Dinge anschauen.

I just submitted Ahu's First Patrol to the 2027 ENNIE Awards, and the books are now on their way to the judges.

I'm super excited about this. It's the first time I've entered one of my TTRPG books for an award.

Hey Germany. Your constitution says that Nazi parties are illegal. It does not say that they are only illegal if they don't have a lot of voter support and it could lead to serious trouble if you closed them down.

You need to ban AfD or change your constitution to allow Nazi parties. The world keenly wants to know which option you prefer.

So geht Demokratie kaputt.

I really like internet memes, and this one definitely made me smile 🙂

It probably overestimates my role and should encourage more people to support open-source projects, particularly @thephpf, which handled the two recent critical security vulnerabilities exceptionally well by preparing patches, including for older, unmaintained versions, and by communicating with package maintainers in the distributions (like @ondrej and me), and by providing information to users.
