🙏🏼 Thank you for spreading the news, @base4nfdi! Please join @lavaeolus @lipogg @julian @storytracer & me at our 23.11. workshop at @wikimediaDE Berlin, "Knowledge is a Commons". We deliver the playbook for how archives, libraries, radio stations... can make sure *today* that if something happens (blatant censorship, governments meddling with funding or infrastructure, whatever) civil society can readily take over, keeping open content continuously and smoothly accessible. Let's prepare now. 1/2

Thanks @dfg_public for funding our @tibhannover project SHIELD. Again: SHIELD greatly helped to deliver TIB's model strategy of implementing and using SciOp to complement our digital archiving capabilities. The SciOp layer establishes trusted means of collaboration with civil society. Resilience in times when libraries & archive skills are more important than ever, while at the same time GLAM *institutions* become fragile and contested. 2/2
